I find Cardinal directions easy because i know how to estimate the locations. Of all 4 directions and using a compass. What i struggle the most with when using basic map skills is using coordinates because when going in a 2 dimensional map and getting the correct spot is hard. A reason why using basic map skills is useful in geography is because it will be easier to locate other parts of the world.
Hey Evan I read your post and I agree that coordinates are hard sometimes, but its also easy because you're estimating for the answer.
