I think it is important to know about a country's standard of living so we know what we need to survive and have a good life . Also what indicates if we do have a good life with indicators. That will also allow us to know if another country has a high medium or low standard of living. This is important because we need to understand a country's standard of living to know if they need help or if they are fine

You can tell about a country’s standard of living using five themes of geography . Location can tell you a countries health because if it is a spot with a lot of diseases its health will be low. Place can determine a places infrastructure like if they have electricity or even roads. Movement can determine infrastructure as well. Human Environment Interaction can show you a places wealth because if it has a lot of factories it probably has a lot of products to trade.

5 themes of geography

The five themes of geography helps people analyze the world by Finding the exact location of a place using coordinates and using other locations/monuments(location).It is also used for finding out what a place is like if it is cold or hot if there are people if they are rich or poor so much can be found by having this skill(place).Another theme is transporting items or humans to even ideas to get items look at different locations or ideas so we can work together (movement). This is also used to find out how we are using this land and how we adapt to our environment or to get our needs/wants(human environment interaction).Last but not least finding out how to know what an area is like and the area around it is like(region)

Location because it is hard to locate using coordinates to locate a certain position on A map and estimating where a location/place/monument

map skills

I find Cardinal directions easy because i know how  to estimate the locations.  Of all 4 directions and using a compass. What i struggle the most with when using basic map skills is using coordinates because when going in a 2 dimensional map and getting the correct spot is hard. A reason why using basic map skills is useful in geography is because it will be easier to locate other parts of the world.
